"The sixth messenger poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water dried up, in order to prepare the way for the kings from the east." - Revelation 16:12
This is happening. It's a message, by a messenger (Angel, Gr. aggellos) to show us things. The entire book of Revelation was written by John's hand, as Christ revealed to him the things that would happen. Parts of Revelation are what John saw in the present, but most was future, for us. It wasn't a coded message about the Roman empire, or a cryptic writing to hide a message to the existent churches of the day while John was imprisoned on the Isle of Patmos. It was written for our understanding of what was to transpire in the coming days. John was taken into the spiritual realm (Rev 4:2) and shown what would happen. The verse above is one of two in Revelation concerning the Euphrates river (Phrates). The first occurs when speaking of the 5th trumpet sounding and a great army coming against Israel. This is the "kings of the east" mentioned above. That is, Iran, Eastern Syria, and all parts east of there, including China, Russia, etc. The river itself has been drying up for several years as dams and other alterations are made by men. These alterations have caused some parts to flood ancient places and other parts to dry up, revealing some ancient wonders. As it dries further, it will allow ground troops to swarm into Israel, and there will be a great conflict, moreso than what is going on now. (The Hams war is just a precursor.) As armies will surround Jerusalem, just as Yeshua foretold in Luke Chapter 21- 20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
This is the herald of the "Abomination of Desolation" that will take place. (Titus in 70A.D. DID NOT fulfill this as tradition often teaches.) The abomination of desolation is the wicked one sitting in the temple of God, presenting himself as God, to cause those who do not love the truth to be deceived. (2nd Thessalonians Chapter 2) The abomination of desolation is: Abomination - The most loathsome sin Desolation - Ruin, destruction The most loathsome sin that causes ruin. The son of perdition is the son of ruin. He is the dragon, the false prophet of Revelation that John was shown. He will sit, to cause people to sin by worshipping the false lamb, and fall away into apostasy. This includes some who claim that they are under grace. If they fall away to worship the false king, they will be cut off like the 5 foolish virgins of Matthew 25. Seek the Lord while you can. Love His Word. Study to show you can think for yourself. A worker who will not be ashamed when the Lord comes. Yeshua is the Truth, The Life, The Way. He is the Only.
There are so many voices in the world today, trying to tell you how to believe. So many doctrines. So many traditions that have become doctrine. Don't believe me or any other man. Seek it for yourself. Study in the Holy Spirit. If you truly love the Lord God, and His Son, Yeshua Ha'Maschiach , that is Jesus the Christ, seek Him with all your might, in these last days of the last days. Ask HIM for HIS Wisdom and Understanding. If you are sincere, HE will teach you all things. Amen.
Jesus Speaking... John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
